I've been asking for a title change for 1.5 years based on my merit, experience, tenure, etc. I recently found out that someone else on my team was able to attain this title in less than a year and we are at the same IC level. My recent promotion was disappointing and barely covered inflation.

We have some very talented people at the company, there is a culture of sharing knowledge openly and providing mentorship by senior managers, provided employees make the effort to engage them and ask.

They really do encourage wellness and time off. We have wellness days and when we are sick we are told to rest up-work can wait. Really encouraging for the tech world as my last place was not like this at all!
