In truth, if seventy percent of the management disappeared tomorrow, I don't think anyone would notice. Nor would it affect the operation at all. We can go whole days without seeing any of them while they have meetings and not only is the atmosphere better, but things get done more efficiently.

Standardize the process. At AA each area does whatever it wants which makes no sense.

get rid of the America West/ US Air management regime - replace them with a Gordon Bethune (former Continental) or Richard Anderson or Ed Bastian type
