It has been interesting with Covid in full bloom when I started. I love the direction that the new CEO is taking the company in...I can't wait to see how it plays out!

The flexibility... I love the new "shopping" for benefits setup, you can pick and choose exactly what you want, no restrictions
What makes you most happy at work?
Connecting with people, resolving customer issues quickly and to their approval. Helping my direct reports grow in their leadership skills. Being appreciated for a job well done (this is rare in a leadership position, I understand).
What are some of the best things about your team?
There are pockets of excellence within my team, and pockets of opportunity. I am slowly working through the managers to help them grow individually as leaders, they did not have this expectation nor training prior to my arrival.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how the new CEO is not only focusing on getting the company positioned to successfully go public, but he is a truly caring individual and is focusing on the people and diversity, it is a breath of fresh air!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The diversity and inclusiveness culture shift is refreshing. There were more men in leadership positions when I first started, that is changing significantly!! The best person is selected for the job....Everyone seems to love the teleworking, but it can cause isolation and loneliness.
