My department is HR - we are going through a massive transformation right now and I have been with the company for a year. During that year, we have been changing, so I have definitely been learning at pace. I haven't seen anything stable yet, but that's because we are growing.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are very much like a family here, and it is so easy to fall in love with us. I am proud to be a part of my company.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I truly, truly feel like they care about the humanity behind the company. They care about our patients, us as employees, and take a personal interest in making sure we are happy. I never have to worry about their motives.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I like my team most of the time. It's very small, and I have been here a lot less time than others have, so I do feel a lot that I have to take the brunt end of administrative tasks because everyone else is out on vacation so often.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am in an assisting role in an administrative department. Because Assistants have such a huge range of what we have done in the past, it seems like the compensation varies so much as well. Because I did not make a lot at previous positions, my starting salary was lower and I am capped at 2% raises.
