How employees describe working at AutoZone

It was a hostile environment. There was discrimination, harassment, and violations of the ethics code by the GM on down. They steal, lie, cover things up. I quit because I couldn't take it anymore.

  • In NY, it's pretty bad. Some stores are packed with 45+ employees on roster such as Levittown HUB, however Bellmore Autozone 2972 has 1 Store Manager and 1 PSM. They're both full time but There are currently no other Management staff able to carry store keys and do Opening/Closings.

  • The operations team at Autozone lacks the skills and experience needed to successfully implement continuous improvement. Most of the leadership team have been promoted within without gaining proper education.
