I was offered a postion at a competitor a few years back. I was talked into staying and ultimately did to avoid changing jobs. I still haven't reached the salary I was offered by the competition after 3 raises.

Much higher pay and benefits.

Others get paid more than me after i work there for years other who just started get higher pay and was promised 3 times for a raise never got it

What are some of the best things about your team?

Our meetings are always about the same few metrics. We talk about those metrics week in week out. We are never given any new tools to obtain the goals that are set so it just ends up being a never ending cycle.

Show up on time, adhere to the dress code, help the customers, and put stock away. Do anything other than steal and play on their phones.

To please mind their own buisness and worry abt customer needs over their own

The company is always talking about its culture and core values but they are not demonstrated from on high. Wages are low you are forced to spend money on a dress code that is very strict yet they offer you nothing to help you pay for it.

Employees should just do the basics of helping the customers, which would go a long way.

The interview portion is pretty easy and with the rate of pay they will basically take anyone with a pulse. The problem comes after the interview as on boarding takes forever

Quick interview once you get the call

I was led to believe they had quality staff that was capable of genuinely helping the customers. Also, those interactions with the customers would be positive. They seldom are, as we usually get something wrong or break something.

Open communication between all possible upcoming experiences.

Applications should be looked at right away if it says they're hiring no matter the fact that it's a female

Took weeks for them to schedule a second interview I actually took a second job before I went back to them

Hire workers who take pride in what they do. Hiring just to fill a position results in no man power because they do not understand the value they hold and they tend to take for granted. Hire individuals of any age group and ethnicity as long as they take pride in what they do and strive to work.

Talk to less people. Phone interview.

Ppl need to be trained on all aspects in Diy and not just certain ppl knowing how to take out batteries and doing headlights it's not fair and we're training ourselves I know commercial and don't work in commercial because I taught myself
