AutoZone Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Quick interview once you get the call

Posted 4 days ago

I was led to believe they had quality staff that was capable of genuinely helping the customers. Also, those interactions with the customers would be positive. They seldom are, as we usually get something wrong or break something.

Open communication between all possible upcoming experiences.

It was a relatively easy process

Like how it was explained to me about the day to day work week

Review from Sales Dept

All my questions were answered

I was recruited multiple times prior to coming on board. SUPER EASY when they are trying to take you away from a company that actually cares about its employees

professional kind strong mature fast

Review from Customer Support Dept

The immediate processing of my application information.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Pretty basic and norm

It was casual and easy

It was simple and not to overly complicated

Easy going, fast, understandable, and knowlegable

Quick but lacking any positive support or any work contract

Pretty good, and informidable to say the least

Friendly, positive and motivating, professional

Review from Sales Dept

I liked meeting new people and learning about my future job

He was nice and friendly

Review from Sales Dept

The person who interview me it was 15 years a go. So, it was very polide

it was quick and easy

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Applications should be looked at right away if it says they're hiring no matter the fact that it's a female

Took weeks for them to schedule a second interview I actually took a second job before I went back to them

Hire workers who take pride in what they do. Hiring just to fill a position results in no man power because they do not understand the value they hold and they tend to take for granted. Hire individuals of any age group and ethnicity as long as they take pride in what they do and strive to work.

Talk to less people. Phone interview.

I will not help you make money from youre failure

Previously stated in earlier question

They need to do drug screens at least every 3 months

Get more information about people just because they desperate not anyone is fit

Review from Sales Dept

I would get somebody that's actually in the store that's actually going to have to deal with these people before they're hired

Review from Sales Dept

nothing to improve with interview

Panel interviews are unnecessary and a power play

This company need to see the whole job task

More one on one and talking to upper management to see what kind of people they are.

Review from Sales Dept

They never asked me car questions when I was hired. Only the difference between compassion and empathy. I did not get that job when first applied. New dm and tried again and finally was asked car questions. Then asked for 3.50 over min wage and best they could do is 1.40 over. New hire got more afte

First and foremost none of your store managers don't even have offices or chairs to sit and conduct an interview? That's a joke

Review from Operations Dept

Teamwork and dedication is key to success

Be flexible and respect potencial employees schedule and dont just tell them to write open so the schedule wont affect them in the future.

They hired me without question. My hiring manager said he's not going to hire black people. He said they don't belong here.

Nothing much, just ask the right question find thise willing to learn

Less interview are necessary. I had 11 separate interviews with various leaders.
