These folks have their eyes on the future. They are looking at long-term success of the company, and are acute aware of the ensuing challenges from newcomers in the industry.
She is so clear and goes above and beyond so that you understand clearly
Suppprtive, humble and never above the tasks they ask of associates.
Being honest about pto and our work
Alot of of things thats why they lose so many folks
They need to get better at identifying the truth and having more women in supervisor/manager roles.
Understanding the word "leader" and what it truly means in every aspect of its existence.
Better training and better proffesionalism
Pet insurance is most definitely a plus and theyll work on my car for s discounted rate regardless if its purchased at a CarMax

benefits - 401k match, dental, discounts, etc
The bonus is paid consistently and feels tied to our performance. Stock grants are generous, and the stock price performs well.
It's at a low cost you have a choice to pick from diffrent plans that may suit your needs
Its better than any union
The workplace environment is hostile to working, the managers are unprofessional and have attitude. Leader ship does not speak on what goes wrong and likes to avoid the situation. Also leader ship have other associates to delegate a situation causing a bigger problem. New hires don't last long.

I have been working at carmax for a year and stil am not given a personal day
Leadership pressures you to fix things that are out of your control.
straight commission sucks when sales are low
Review from Sales Dept
base salary plus bonus/commission with sales consultant position
With some people only being their a few month, everyone new or tenured exhibits an impressive amount of knowledge. Everyone is also very close knit and friendly, making you feel like you fit in since day one.

The team consists of creative, smart, dynamic members, with tons of experience.
Everbody engages with each other in a positive manner
We are all able to understand eachother
Better communication and teamwork. Some employees like to pick and choose what they want to do. Also some employees like to ride the clock while others work hard. Also those employees choose to leave and have other staying long nights to finish all the closing duties, and it is a repetitive pattern.

Be better team members .
Be able to actually build geniuine bond
CarMax needs to stop hiring people with no prior automotive repair experience and start only hiring people with knowledge. The "we can train anyone to do this" mentality is horribly wrong and proves to be incorrect day in and day out.
Employees should recieve proper training ir be fored if they cant do their job
Very accepting environment of everyone, no matter your knowledge on cars

Encouraging collaboration and inter-team work
They really do live by their values in everything they do.
Like ince a year we get food
The insrtructor and co workers are helpful clean bathrooms
More women in supercisory positions. If coworkers make complaints about each other they should be briught together face to face.
Just about everything you can think of. Most of all treating employees as individuals, and not numbers and bodies that can just be replaced whenever as needed. Some shoes can not be filled.
CEO, Regional Management, LGM, and Sales Managers.
Management needs to set expectations & stop allowing things to continue being done the way the way they are now. There need to be some new procedures implemented to stop costly mistakes from being made & Management needs to insure procedures are being followed.
Review from Sales Dept
Team members need to feel like they are all important and their work is valued.
The process was efficient and friendly. The questions were relevant and I felt the interviewers were prepared.
Easy and not too long
I felt at ease during my interviews even though they do challenge you.
Interview is like a conversation.
very in depth and hands on compared to most
The people interviewing seemed nervous
if you apply for a auto tech have someone who knows what a mechanic can do and not have a sales manager interview them
Review from Operations Dept
Screen people better for work ethic
Work flies by, whether it’s because it’s busy, you’re doing something fun, good friendships or the fact you actually get to go outside and get sun

Co-workers and the overall environment
Getting access to the latest tools and information. Always having smart team members to partner with.
Great enviroment great indtructors amd co workers
The entire culture makes you excited to work!
Better leadership is needed, including management. Everyone looks over the real problem and is not announced. The manager is always missing. And the assistant manager very unprofessional and needs management classes. Too many associates trying to be leadership and ate not being properly trained.

Car business is dying out fast
Communication to customers is terrible, customers are left confused. Working here all this pressure is put on you to speak and sell to customer but the tools given suck
Stop making horrible mistakes to people and make them pay for them!! Cars on the lot for customers to shop should all be available and not to only selected employees
Poor quality cars, low inventory, constant overcoming customer complaints.
name recognition carries a lot of weight
Leaving for work to go home.
Co-workers who care as much as I do
Giving me less hours for the same amount of pay.
