Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel that if I have progressed internally then I have to fight to get any increase in my salary despite any promotion internally or even working with the company for a number of years. However as an external candidate you get offered a much larger compensation and this creates a huge disparity.
