After 11 years of believing that Delta values thier employees, and finding myself disabled and depending on the pronised employee benifits package, I find that Delta reduces my disability insurane income by the amount of my SOC retirement income, which turns my 60% disability benift to 30%.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are great, I'm sure that few of them know how poorly Delta treats thier disabled employees.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
nothing, they lie to the employees about the benifits package, then when we can least afford it they steal my legitimate social security retirement and even claim that any cost of livimg increase from social security goes back to Delta to offset the disability payment to employees.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The disability insurance that is part of the employee package, and the additional employee paid portion increasing my long term disability to 60% is offset by my SOC income, which is never disclosed when they brag about the benifits package, in effeact steaking my SOC retirement.
