  • With customer surveys and customers feeling comfortable enough to discuss any issues

Asked to the Sales Department at Dollar General

  • Not sure how well this will be worded, but they aren't great. Honestly, if you are unlucky enough to ne employed there and you're offered a higher position than cashier or sticker, turn it down! You will lost any free time you have left, and get treated like dirt. You will be so stressed due to poor corporate policies, and extremely underpaid. If you're a manager you will get paid a salary for 50 hours a week and work 70, minimum. Good luck

  • They prefer promoting from within. I feel to boost moral as well as encouraging you to put some pride in your work

  • Not very well. Your chances increase slightly if you are willing to travel or completely move. Manager positions always seem to be open; however, Dollar General is more out to hire outside of the company than to promote.
