The job flexibility was awesome. When the company was new, everyone was buzzing and excited and curious how this new concept would turn out. But soon we drivers were no longer met with smiles at partner restaurants or at customers homes. So the start up at doordash was fun. As they gained territory
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Maybe folks coud be stationed at a busy merchant.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication, promises, consistancy, clarity. More efficient batches. Also, drivers shoul be able to have more choice of picks, where deliveries are concerned.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Even tho this is an app based job. App based for merchant and customers also. Its a very cold and impersonal app service.
What did you like most about the interview process?
There were only two new hires that day including myself. It was personal, clear, thorough, and informative. Supplies were...supplied...and free, when I started working here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Anything extra I do properly at a pick up or delivery goes unnoticed. Also I felt there was no ryme or reason to distance between runs. Was running like a chicken with its head cut off, if you will.
