Overall for my background DT has been an amazing company to work for. I don't think DT is for everyone if you aren't willing to be constantly challenged and up for changes. In my opinion, corp accounting at Drive Time isn't the place for someone who wants the same thing day in and day out.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I enjoy the diversity and the constant room for improvement and opportunities that are provided.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I personally take full advantage of the 401K and vision benefits. Since i've received a compensation increase at the beginning of July it's allowed me to not stress as much with living costs that came with the countries inflation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I enjoy the different types of personalities and how we all interact even if we don't see eye to eye in the beginning. Each person contributes more than enough to constantly improve in a healthy, open, and honest environment.
What makes you most happy at work?
Viewing and experiencing the different ways the accounting develops and transitions throughout the company. I've been fortunate enough to see how things begin from the customer making their payment to how we account for the funds on our income statement.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My leadership team has had the utmost grace with not only my transition to their team from another DT department, but also with the learning curve it takes to get a handle on a new position. They are transparent regarding expectations and changes that are with our team and department as a whole.
