Minding their own business, focusing on themselves and their jobs. Stop being messy, catty and petty. It takes nothing to be nice. Everyone is going through something.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
They overdo the company events and it doesn't always come across as optional. It's almost like the events are used to mask the mess that's really going on. The turnover rate is higher than they claim. It's too high.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay doesn't align with industry standards. They took away the bonus a few years ago and increased the pay, but it has not changed with the times. There is no reason anyone should be making less than $50k/year. Especially with the amount of work, metrics and attention to detail that's required.
