I love what I do, I take pride in my work and I thrive on making customers happy. I also enjoy helping new people learn the ropes, watching them grow and move through the job levels. I think there is room to grow here however I don't see this company encouraging that which is sad.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They seem honest, they appear to be sharing information to inform us why they do what they do. I might not always like what they do but I appreciate the transparency.
What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy what I do. I like dealing with various clients, different environments and learning new things. I have grown my skills over the years here and continue to grow and learn.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think it is the transparency, Mike tells it like it is which I do appreciate. I think telling employees the truth makes us feel included and not like people are trying to hide things. I would rather know what is coming than to be blindsided.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My direct manager has zero interest in me or what I do at this company. I just had a 20 year anniversary and never heard a word from them. I have seen notes go to my manger about my performance and no feedback at all. Good Managers make a big difference.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are real people, some of them are crazy smart and most are very good at their jobs. Everyone is willing to help when needed, regardless if it is their area or not. If they have the knowledge they are willing to share, if they don't they help guide. I think DXC has some fantastic people.
