I was initially excited to work for a new company. The initial bump in pay was nice, but a lot of work being moved outside of the Americas makes it feel like I am expendable. Not good for my moral or for my team.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are dedicated and appreciate the value of working together as a team.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I understand that merit raises are not available, but there also have been no annual raises to account for inflation. This makes it a struggle for myself and my team.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
A lot of people have been leaving because they feel they are not being properly compensated. From a manager perspective, it is difficult to motivate employees to keep growing in their role or going above and beyond.
