It is a wild ride. Things thrown over the wall, need to guide other groups in basic tasks, continuous workforce reductions resulting in fewer people to do work (and those remaining in timezones across the world).

I have flexibility with hours, and an awesome manager.

Having a vision and articulating it so it can be achieved

I can call most of them at any time and ask questions, or for help and they will be there.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Each day tends to bring more items to get done, unwind, figure out or make work. Rarely is it just a day to get my regular work completed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I step up to assist and drive in multiple capacities - not just my job. The work that is done in these capacities are not included in goals and reviews.
