Empathy, camaraderie, occasional patience, ability to work from home.
Communication and getting aligned on key goals and how my team can contribute to that. Also cutting down on extraneous processes, approvals and bureaucratism which run RAMPANT.
See previous comment. Cut cut cut arbitrary bureaucratic processes and ensure people are empowered to do the right thing - not micromanaged to a T and then yelled at when they run afoul of some minutia that wasn't communicated to them.
While I may be comped correctly given my tier, the skill set I bring to the table is not being utilized and feel I could add significantly more value if I had more free reign to do work autonomously without approvals - IE was entrusted to do the right thing.
