So many of us really love this company from it's roots as EDS and there is still some of that great spirit here. The new DXC leadership team (Salvino and team) makes me feel the best I've felt about my job in many years. We are good at what we do and I'm proud to be DXC.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Team is highly dedicated and committed to making DXC great and to making our customers happy with DXC. My team members really want DXC to win.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Extremely honest and straight forward. No more double talk or hidden agendas; It's all right out there to love it or hate it, but at least it's real.
What makes you most happy at work?
Three main things come to mind: Seeing an initiative to the end, successfully. Being asked to support a key initiative or sale and being able to contribute. Making my team feel appreciated and recognized.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most everyone wants to do what makes sense. It's collaborative and focused on helping others be successful. For example, even assets like infrastructure components, may be shared to be used most effectively rather than hoarded for pet projects.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay for performance and occasional rewards would be good. The company is working toward this but it's been 8+ years since any sort of recognition or salary increase for most anyone in the US and much the same in other onshore countries. I believe DXC will fix this.
