What is the best part about your compensation package?
Hourly wage, rather than salaried.
100% covered health care. It's amazing that we do not have to pay any monthly premium and is absolutely the best part of the compensation package at Esri.
Esri's Insurance - Both Children, now adults, where born while I was employed with Esri. All the care for 30 years has been taken care of. And the 401(k) profit sharing.
Seems to keep pace with market conditions.

I've noticed that listings on LinkedIn for my role at other companies are paying considerably more. Also, the amount of PTO provided falls short of the tech industry standard.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Our team is kind, diligent, and communicative.
People are authentic and generally very nice to work with.
We are a team, but also much more like a family. We all care about each other and help each other out.

Continue being friendly but be more inclusive for social events and discussions.

The campus is beautiful and inviting.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Company leadership does not have enough top down initiative, and as a result, there is often a lack of communication between teams, late in development emergencies, and a general lack of a shared direction.
