I am not aware of any such policy
As far as I know we don't have one. You would have to check with H/R.
What's the interview process like at Extended Stay America?
Calm and relaxed. Depends on which position one is applying for.
Depends on the job type. Then for management, the interview is usually conducted by the district manager and maybe the Sr.Dir of Operations. Situational questions and some basic math.

Friendly, caring, courteous, willing to go the extra mile to make some one happy.

I feel too much money is being wasted on band aid fixes. Spend the money to repair or replace things the right way and more money will be saved in the long run.
Technology finally is growing faster... difficulties is appreciating their employees other than management
How's the work life balance at Extended Stay America?
I only work P/R so a lot of things don't apply to me. I strictly stick to my P/T schedule even though I am often asked to cover other days. I don't feel pressured to come in. I just say no.
You don't have a life once you work here
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Extended Stay America?
Extend more benefits to P/T employees. Include vacation pay to all. Include sick day pay as well for all.
Don't know much about the finance dept because this company is always trying to hide something... and if you know or say anything you get fired

We are one big family.
Like any big company the culture is very down to earth and caring. Leadership is always forthcoming and helpful. Promoting from within is a priority. Always looking for top notch management and great hourly employees. Hope this gives some insight.

Great people skills. Patience, the ability to problem solve., Not easily rattled. Good sense of humor.

Good place to work if you like dealing with all walks of life. It can be challenging at times but I like it here. Good discounts on rooms.

We want more. We do not receive any thing from the company at Christmas. All employees should have the same benefits part- timers included!
