My overall experience has been fantastic. I have worked for several of the largest companies in the world and for the 1st year at Farmers I kept waiting for the "real" Farmers to show up because I couldn't believe that what I saw could be real. I was wrong! Farmers truly is an amazing company!
What did you like most about the interview process?
They did a one on one with a supervisor and then a group interview with additional candidates and managers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company culture is all about taking care of our customers and the employees. The work/life balance culture is amazing.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We actually work as a team and care about one another. My teammates are always willing to assist and help me whenever needed.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team at Farmers is outstanding! They actually care about the rank and file employees, it is not just lip service. They are transparent and approachable.
What makes you most happy at work?
Speaking to and helping our customers. I take auto and property claims and I love being able to help our customers in what is usually a stressful and negative experience.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
They not only match your 401k up to 6% but they have an additional base of 4% so if you can put away 16% into your 401k. Every other company I have worked for (other than USAA) may match at 3% and that is it. The entire benefits package is very nice as well.
