What did you like most about the interview process?

The CSM that interviewed me (NO longer works at the company) was a great personality, very professional, and elaborated on any questions I had when first hired.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The positive is that there are still some really good associates that come in and try their best; they haven't been quite broken and they do their utmost to make things better. Sadly, they're not far enough on the corporate chain to make a difference.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

It's not the coworkers fault. When you're expected to do the work of two people, with no help, you have little time to interact with one another let alone customers. If you create the lone wolf mentality, don't be shocked when everyone's out for themselves.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Low payroll, added responsibilities without alleviating old ones, low pay, high stress, no work life balance if you're management, egos, poor UPPER management, career advancement if you're liked, and toxic environment. Not sure it can be improved anymore, despite the fact I've worked here for 4 year

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Start being reasonable with expectations and understand that when people are understaffed things are gonna get neglected; don't patronize, belittle, or berate your hourly associates doing the best they can when they have no help. If you're not going to chip in and clean, fill, then be quiet.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel undervalued when my market/district manager came in and said my numbers only looked good because of him. That all of my efforts were for nothing, because he's the one keeping the entire franchise afloat. Stop with the egos, be humble, and if you aren't gonna help don't perpetuate problems.
