It has been horrible. Management is a joke and not at all professional. The pay is not good and they expect far too much out of employees. I am trying to reach out to HR regarding issues and can't find out how to do so. It shouldn't be this difficult to try and work somewhere. I'm very disappointed.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing. Management has messed it all up. They kill the good vibes.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Literally everything. They play favorites and those people get away with being lazy while the people who actually do the job well are pulled to the office and told they are only decent and not given an opportunity to explain anything. It's all one sided and a joke of a company.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people I see on a daily basis that I work with, who aren't management, are really great, down to earth people. Everyone is friendly and easy to talk and laugh with. The people who come to work to actually work are great, effective, friendly and are the ones who hold it down. Management is a joke
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel I am undervalued, I know for a fact that I am. My store manager and assistant store manager showed me that by allowing the deli assistant manager to lie about me to them and just believing it instead of checking with me first. I also know that I am making less on the hour than new hires
