Ford Motor Company Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Decisive and transparent in general

Competency is greatest in those closest to the actual work

Fanily control of company provides some stability

Strongly supported to us at any time we needs.

My managers were all great.

My manager is down to earth and a direct person. He is very observant and tries hard to make a calm environment.

They are transparent and upfront when communicating things to us, even if its not so great news, they dont sugar coat it. They present the facts as they are. I like that directness.

Everyone is totally respectable And appreciative

They are helpful and understand

Have a weekly meeting. to set up projects.

Bold vision and dynamic approach

I think Ford's CIO gets it and is really focused on being a change agent. Unfortunately, there are still people around who refuse to change and continue with their bureaucratic ways, not wanting to "rock the boat". It's literally hurting Ford internally. IT leadership and culture is horrible!

Leaves me alone while working

They are always willing to help

They set clear goals to follow and meet

I love how open they are to understanding our problems

Open to new ideas and really engaged across organization

Organized and knows the task at hand

They communicate well with the field

Serious about transformative work and products

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Listening to customers wants and needs. Take the Lincoln, its not targeted to the USA customer anymore, it was specifically designed for the China market. And now 98% of it is built in China.

Do your job quit causing Drahma on the floor

the leadership team at my plant has failed miserably.

I just hate having to do this

No Work ethics!!!! The worst company to work in! Leadership micromanages everything! No respect at all. Discrimination at the highest level.

They preach empathy but do the exact oposite. There is no team. Between plant HR and upper management you walk around with your head on a swivle waitikg to get thrown under a bus. You can jave a provate discussion woth HR 20 min later you have people on the floor talking about your discussion.

My team leader is great

Decision makeing and policy Following

Retaining talent and growing existing talent.

Review from IT Dept

making decisions, listening, compensating workers based on expertise, not diversity

Review from Business Development Dept

Salary and bonuses are lacking tremendously.

Review from Engineering Dept

Better compensation and we have too much work, hire more people.

Review from HR Dept

Setting priorities. For every Ford+ Directive there are 20+ LL2 goals and then over 100 supportive projects. We have way more priorities and we have resources to support them

Review from HR Dept

Understand that Ford is a car manufacturer no a mobility company. They are losing focus on producing car thinking they can be a tech company.

Review from Engineering Dept

Developing and communicating strategic business plans to improve the companies

Review from Engineering Dept

Respect, appreciation and integrity when deal with the team

lower level management and training interactions with council

Review from Sales Dept

Listen to the employees. Respect the knowledge of their employees who have been on the job for years.

Review from Operations Dept

Weeding out the employees that can

Review from Product Dept

Valuing experience and dedication - not just cutting heads and hoping for the best
