Working at Theorem has been a very open and welcoming experience. The projects I've been involved with have been technically challenging and interesting to work on.

I've been pushed to learn a lot and expand my skills by being placed on a very challenging project. My hard work was recognized by being promoted from engineer to team lead.

They're a very diverse, global group.

They are open, honest, approachable.

Trust in my ability to handle my work with minimal oversight.

When they make a mistake, they take ownership, and step in to fix it.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Very different perspectives and lifestyles. It always makes me laugh seeing the variety of video chat backgrounds, from heavy-sweater Canadian winters to tank-top South American summers.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
High pay. Canada-US tax treaties mean I don't have to pay US income taxes or Canadian HST, while being able to claim business expenses as a contractor, so I pay less tax than if I was an employee.
