What do you like best about the leadership team?
The "higher-ups" need to work on making their customers and employees happy at the same time.
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing my coworkers, my great lead CCM (Central Checkout Manager), and interacting with/helping customers that come through my line.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have been with HEB for 4 years now and I have more experience than most other cashiers but my hourly pay does not show that. The starting pay now is only 50 cents less than what I get paid and the new employees do not even care about their jobs. IfeelthatIdonotgetpaidfortheamountofworkIputintoHEB.
