My overall experience at Heartland has been stressful due to the constant push for closing deals. As with any job there are negative issues and positive issues. The constant push for numbers is constant and has driven a high turnover rate.

The desire to share information and support one another

The leadership team keeps employees informed about the business and direction.

I was required to shadow another person which helped me make my decision to accept the position.
What makes you most happy at work?
The best thing about my work is serving my customers and helping them find a solution for their business.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
A living base for the sales team instead of less than minimum wages and requirement to carry an AR Balance which they take back out of your commissions.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The ability to share information. I believe there is a desire to create a more inclusive culture but it is a slow process and there are no minorities in leadership which is a concern.
