I love working for Heartland. Over the years things have really changed and I have seen great improvements in the organization as a whole.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to make a difference in the day to day objectives and goals of the department.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team shows that they care about the business and that we are moving in the right direction.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
No matter what happens we all come together to get the job done for our clients and each other.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I would love to see all areas of the business collaborate with each other to identify and resolve complex issues cross departments.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The rate of pay is not in alignment with other businesses in same field. The responsibilities seem to outweigh the benefits. This year our benefits (insurance) rates increases and also added charges that were not in our previous plan and the benefits themself are not as good.
