Holiday Retirement Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Alllow you to make the decision

They are all about empowerment of staff! It is a priority to develop effective, yet empathetic and compassionate leaders.

That it is a team

The leadership team are friendly individuals but oblivious to everything.

They pivot on a dime around here. Always busy and they care.

I love that we have input and our GM listens to us

They do their job and listen to staff.

Both caring and capable at the higher level.

Cindy is a good leader, rest of staff undermined her

Holiday is very people driven and they execute goals, help and support one another and leadership that drives team atomphsere from top down. Our region has a lot of fun in sales !

They try to stay involved with each building. They also utilize new technology and resources to better serve our residents. They are also pretty good about teaching out to and communicating with associates.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I work as a server at the community I work at. The managers arent hard to communicate but our kitchen is one of the most stressful experiences I have to deal with. No employee should have to go to work and deal with a chef who refuses to listen to you or disregards what your concerns are. Help?

Review from Customer Success Dept

That when times get hard we buckle down and get the job done

Review from Customer Support Dept

I like that that they embrace change.

Review from Customer Support Dept

They take our suggestions and opinions into consideration

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Managing employees with fairness and kindness

Managing, prioritizing, employing staff and training correctly

Communication, training, tactfulness, empowerment, scheduling

Review from Operations Dept

Listening to employees give some money to do the things they want us to do take criticism from the employee dont lie to residents

Listening to the ground level employees. CEO is so out of touch its laughable. She's waiting for her golden parachute. Great Place to Work surveys were mandatory and participation would be tracked and if an employee refused to take it, then they were culled from the herd.

Communication. Limit micromanaging so community can do their job

Hire competent employees who like working with seniors. Do it soon. Management needs to step up and fix the employee problems.

Leadership team talks a good game but they need to actually lead and pitch in when employees are struggling on the floor.

hiring people that actually know how to properly handle issues.

Review from Operations Dept

Leadership doesn't lead, they email and direct.

The leadership team needs to view both residents as well as associates as humans.

Sending 18 page direction booklets when staff asks for training is not effective and counter productive to the term "support center."

Getting off of thier bottoms and doing something maybe help sonetimes instead of having non work conversations or on the phone or watching movies or just sitting around not doing anything productive when we are very short staffed cant get the office manager or general manger to do a coffee pour

Micromanagement so much they said one thing you executed and you get in trouble cause they change it the next day

Commucation and team work with each other

Hiring, responsibility, wages, incentives, communication

Communication and not talking about employees to other employees and managers not ranting about employees on social media.

Review from Operations Dept

They need to learn to listen to their employees and train them when they ask for it.

very liberal executive management team without understanding the cultural differences with the different areas of the country

Review from Operations Dept

Focused on number NOT people
