Home Instead Senior Care Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Trade secrets I cannot divulge

Review from Customer Support Dept

Sick time pay, they pay you for training too.

Would like to be paid more, but their pay is competitive and they are very supportive of their employees

The 4% match on future 401k plans is really nice.

Review from Customer Support Dept

This is very new with our company/franchise. It was recommended by the franchise board, & manager. I simply like the fact it is being used

Review from Customer Support Dept

The company compensates us in a very fair way. Making the work environment less stressful

yearly bonuses are always fair

Review from Customer Support Dept

Do not have a compensation package.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I do not receive one.

Review from Customer Support Dept

We get paid for mileage as well as shift bonuses and extra pay for weekends.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The best part is having a daily paycheck.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Insurance coverage is perfect for my needs

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Listen to there caregivers more

The last three questions about benefits and all should be unavailable because it does not pertain to me

I have been employdd almost 2 years ans havent been evaluated for a raise or performance review. I dont get any praise even when a client has expressed gratitude for me to the manager or nurse on staff. I am only reminded of the bad things never any praise for the good. We dont get any incentives

I believe this is an industry wide issue and not company specific.

Lowest pay in the area, benefits are a joke

Owner misrepresents profit margin to eliminate bonuses.

It's all about the company making money, not the Caregiver!

Better pay, good health insurance

Review from Operations Dept

Not enough compensation, poor training with new clients

Review from Customer Support Dept

They pay the new nurses the same as they pay nurses with 15 yrs experience.

Review from Operations Dept

I never feel undervalued, but sometimes the job can make you feel Like you

Review from Customer Support Dept

Higher pay and more hours

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel like paying anybody minimum wage to be a caretaker is kind of asking for horrible employees, since the work is really quite easy, but you're essentially responsible for another person and their belongings while you are there.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Pay is extremely low and I am not offered any PTO or benefits at the Knoxville, TN office.

Stocks? What? Benefits as I understand it I work and I get paid...

Review from Customer Support Dept

I’m paid only a hair above minimum wage and that’s absolutely ridiculous for the amount of

Review from Customer Support Dept

Charging clients $30/hr, while paying your Caregivers $15/hr, leaves a large margin, for which the corporation does very little. If they would pay $25ish to their Caregivers, they would be much more likely to show up. I am reliable, they have not been.

I am underpaid for my position and would like medical benefits but not having those things aren't as big of an issue because the company is amazing to work for.

Healthcare employess worh in the health industry. They deserve health and medical benefits. Agencies are charging clients an enormous amount of money for caregiver services. The agencies fail to compenstaetheir caregivers fairly.

I do not feel undervalued but would appreciate a better compensation package such as dental, 401k.
