Like every other company, Hubspot has areas to grow and there are great coworkers and some who aren't where they need to be. What's different is that the collective awareness of areas of growth and the effort to improve how we work, how we all grow, how we help our customers. Very refreshing to see.

I feel undervalued as a designer on the marketing team knowing that designers on the product team have larger salaries. Both design disciplines require a lot of knowledge and one isn't more important than the other.

The fact that I, as an Irish-based employee, am paid so much less than my US counterparts, despite working on the same teams. As a remote worker, I also miss out on a lot of benefits too (free food etc). Cost of living is rising and should be acknowledged.

I have interviewed other places and most would consider me at a higher role and/or salary plus give me a bonus if the company is doing well (stock or cash). I like the culture so I'll stay here for now but as a Black woman I need to think about gaining wealth for not only me but for my family.

More budget for the marketing design team. Other teams, like the development team, get clearer career steps, hierarchy, and compensation during ACR. We've only grown in the past year and only now does it seem like the team is getting in order.
