Stay away from the housekeeping department. The supervisors are manipulative and controlling. You WILL feel burned out constantly and they won't care.

The departments other than my own tend to be very appreciative.

The only decent thing about EVS is the friends you may make. If your boss lets you even talk to them. They will help your sanity quite a bit.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
the housekeeping leaders Erika and Michael need to stop being so controlling. They keep losing employees left and right and then overworking the remaining staff, thus losing more of their staff. You'll never feel appreciated, but you will feel burned out.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Yes I feel undervalued. Honestly start with a thank you. They don't even do as little as thank you for your hard work. They will only thank the employees they favor and the favoritism is inappropriate and very obvious and unreal
