Stop taking money from the hospitals and expanding your pockets while pretending you are a "non-Profit" hospital

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The CEO of the nonprofit makes 15 million and we are one of the country's most underpaid nursing staff. Since he was hired 2yrs ago, he increased his salaryx3 from the previous CEO, sold thousands of jobs, Cut budgets and eliminated many jobs and I could go on. I used to like it here. Drop him

part time employees pay far too much for medical benefits and don't get any holidays even though they may contribute far more than full time people.

What are some of the best things about your team?
My immediate team of nurses and CNAs on my unit are great to work with. The Doctors and Residents are mostly fantastic and we have a great team

Everyone is working together to best take care of the patients within the facility

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
In general, the environment with coworkers is great. The nurses and staff need to be listened to. The doctors are great about listening to patient's needs, but upper hospital and company management don't care about the patients or the staff

It is extremely difficult to provide a positive culture during major reorganization. Improved communication about the end result would help

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The last couple years, everything has been about how we can cut costs and make the company more money. We should be focusing on the patients and how to make employees feel valued so they want to stay and give their all to the patients
