What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Providing clear steps to achieving goals. They can start with increased support through hiring, training, and promoting teamwork. The current motto is "work harder" however, the team is lean and is working in overdrive to reach unrealistic expectations, heading towards burnout

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I love my job! It's just with inflation, my salary isn't reflecting it. It's a bit harder to make ends meet. I also have my college degree so it feels a little underwhelming to have such a low salary. As for the company itself, I wouldn't change anything about IZEA, it feels like home!! (:

I feel IZEA lacks in the area of promotions/bonuses and is underpaying in some areas.

I don't feel undervauled per say just wished paid maybe 2 thousand more.

IZEA is currently in a stage of tremendous growth, however there is the tendency from our past days of struggling to be extremely conservative with pay, and often claims Orlando's "Cost of Living" to justify being lower. Times are changing, and IZEA's payment structure must do so as well.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The support from upper management throughout the pandemic was non-existent. There was a toxic hustle culture that did not increase employee morale or provide support. While most kept their jobs, there was always fear of losing your job. While it's now improving with a culture mgr. theres a long way.
