JCPenney used to be a great place to work. Honest pay for honest work. This is no longer the case. Management is disorganized and constantly changing. Expectations for the level and volume of work are unobtainable. There is no upward growth with this company any longer.

The pay is too little for the amount of physical & emotional labor required.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Very little is good about this company any longer. It is not a safe, fun place to work anymore.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
What coworkers? The staff has been cut down to the point that you can go hours without seeing another employee
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I am not sure it can improve. Pay needs to be increased. Allow people to work full time to earn a living. Retain management that has experience instead of overworking them until they quit.
