this entire hospital is toxic. from administrator down.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
fairness in pay. flat pay rate. retention bonuses, increase pay rate for those employed longer
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
our leadership team is non existent. there is no accountability. staff that does not contribute go unpunished. good workers are expected to pick up the slack of others. management team has zero respect from staff. looked at as lazy and useless
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
better training, orientation, preceptorship program, communication, stop just hiring "warm bodies", if the ADONs have to work the floor, they should actually work the floor, not just hide in the office and pretend to charge. Management should be a reference point. ours are not at all
