I have had a wonderful experience in my first year. Because of turnover and lack of training in some of the roles, I've found that I spread myself thin and was not able to fully ground myself in the role I am most responsible for. With recent additions to the team, I am hoping this will change.

LHC goes above and beyond to understand an employee's journey and support the needs of each individual.
What are some of the best things about your team?
TEAMWORK. We consistently work together to get things done. I have also observed peer to peer support and counseling to those who aren't being as productive as they should be.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I see progress in my work tasks. When I see that something I've done has positively affected my team and the notice and/or express their appreciation. I know I am doing something right.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The position of a Business Manager for an almost 300+ patient facility is extremely demanding. With deadlines in place and to keep up with the demands of AR and other duties, I consistently work about 60hr per week.
