I feel like I am an excellent and dedicated employee who always does what is needed. I want to see this be the best company to work for but things haven't changed over the years. I feel very underappreciated and do not feel like I am valued here. I really want to see things improve.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The relationship between PCMs all working so hard together.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My immediate team/coworkers specific to me are hardworking and very dedicated. They love hospice and desire to see positve changes to retain staff and provide patients the care they deserve.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Not enough nurses and HHAs, no true appreciation for hardworking dedicated employees. Allow for more staff and adjust the staffing model to fit the agency. Change raises to merit based. Make employees feel appreciated.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
There needs to be more staff and appreciation on all levels. The workload has drastically increased yet the support and staffing has not increased with the heavier workload. Employees feel overworked, under paid, and the rate of burn out is skyrocketing quickly.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No pay for all the work that is completed after your regular shift. 2% raise across the board whether you are an excellent employee or lazy one that rarely shows up to work. No consequences for bad employees. No true appreciation for the dedicated,hardworking, long time employees.
