Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Current salary is well below market value for the industry. The health insurance options have a high paycheck deduction and high costs to use.

average salary for someone in my position in CT seems to be about 20k higher than my current salary. I would feel better if my salary reflected this 'going rate'.

I feel that the salaries could be a little higher, but the benefits do make up for it somewhat. I think that more words of encouragement and less motivation by intimidation is needed.

As a smaller team, we are all invested in doing what it takes to get the job done. No one has an ego about themselves that would preclude them from lending a hand. Any task, from moving furniture, making coffee, taking out recycling, or otherwise, is something that we can ask one another to do.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Concerted efforts are being made to try to address issues/feedback from organization. ELT is listening and attempting to course correct

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I think that people sometimes do not know what an appropriate work conversation is. I have heard distasteful comments, political squabbles, and significant negative talk about other people and or departments. Intelligence is commonly insulted, and I do not find that productive.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Not sure but there is a growing belief that upper management is not doing a good job. From my perspective it seems as though decisions are being made rashly and without foresight. I think there's a feeling that people aren't being heard.
