The entire company's culture has transformed under Satya's leadership to be far more open, diverse, honest, respectful, supportive, empathic and caring.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have never worked with as many amazing, skilled, capable, directed, focused, honest, and most importantly fun people. Working with Microsoft's people is BY FAR it's biggest benefit.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having an endless set of challenges to figure out solutions for, and an endless list of things to learn and discover ... and the support and backing to attack those lists.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Microsoft pay is fair, but not top-dollar, but makes up for this with a rapidly growing stock price, amazing benefits, and a culture that truly cares about helping people when needed, and supporting folks in their learning, growth, etc.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Microsoft's interview process is pretty great, and compared to some companies, is surprisingly rapid - typically several cross-discipline interviews in one day followed by a rapid decision. Microsoft trusts its interviewers' perspective and experience & gut instinct about candidates' potential.
