Mondelez International North America – Overall, the experience is average. I have learned a lot as an RMS, however the workload is far too much and the work pace is far too fast. What are some of the best things about your team?

The best things about my team is the closeness and friendship that develops throughout the years. Retail sales can be very overwhelming and unpredictable, which for better or worse brings the team closer together.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The most positive aspect of the culture, again is the close bonds you form with your co-workers. Without doubt, I can say all of my co-workers want to see me succeed, as I want for them.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

RMS work life balance needs to be a priority. With constant weekend store tickets, phone calls, and texts, the RMS work/life needs to be addressed. My phone doesn't stop ringing Mondays and leads to tasks not being done on time.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

As an RMS, I believe I am not being fairly compensated. If I am being compensated for 40 hours a week, I believe I should approximately work 40 hours a week. As it is now, I can not get the job done in 40 hours a week and I am being expected for work more than what I am being paid for.
