I've never had such a disrespectful manager. Constantly belittling me, taking credit for my work, and denying me time off for emergencies when I have well over 100 hours of accrued PTO. Other teams are better. I feel insecure in my role as I am constantly reminded of the uncertainty of my role.
What makes you most happy at work?
My immediate co-workers. They keep me coming back day after day.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Need to be more engaged with the people they preach they are engaged with. It's all talk and they say there is action, but it is purely superficial and all for show.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have stellar folks working here as non exempt employees. We are so fortunate to attract the best and retain many. Our diversity is increasing and we work to develop and promote female leaders.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I make $10,000 less than the MINIMUM in my salary grade... MINIMUM! I have been in this role for 5 years, I'm fully trained and I consistently and always receive the highest marks on my reviews. Hurts to be a top performer and under paid.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Their incredible! Always willing to help. We support one another, treat each other with respect, cover for one another, every good thing about a team can be said about my co-workers. Best team I've ever been a part of and literally what keeps me here. Especially since I have such poor leadership.
