What do you like best about the leadership team?My manager is wonderful. She listens to what we have to say and she is always trying to find ways to improve and educate the team. Also she fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and innovation.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Market value for key support staff is substantially higher and creates a revolving door of people who leave for competing hospitals in the tri-county area.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?Musc has failed to retain and compensate the bedside nurse of all levels as well as all support stafd....from the highest acuity ICU nurse to the environmental servies worker. The message they send is you are replaceable. They have tremendous staffing issues that are not being faced.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?Value employees, less middle management. More investment into staff retention.
