The people I work around
I can tell that upper management want their people to succeed and move upward in the company. This is very refreshing.
the Diversity that is present in every meeting, every center, every huddle, every event. Each team member is treated with respect and dignity and has valuable and important input, no matter what the topic is. Nordstrom genuinely cares about their employees as well as the customer!
There are good people in other departments
Work life balance is positive
Customers are kind, and excited about the eBar
The ability to work remotely has vastly improve my work flow and productivity. I wouldn't want to return to the office under any circumstances.

The managers and trainers are super friendly
We are all 1 and we are all on the same team
The culture and environment is healthy and a"non toxic"one. It's a comfort to know this when you go to work five days a week .

The manager. Kathy Rosenberger was the only good thing.
Hire happy people. if leadership is miserable...do something about it.
More communication and more management presence on the salesfloor. Less emphasis on high metrics and more merit on providing customer service and team work. Better pay and more transparency, more consistent schedules.
Everything. It dies mirror the Nordstrom Brand
More training, more leadership, more emphasis on service, more equality.
More communication and better training for managers
The management need to understand the employees and be open to concerns and feedback of employee
More responsibility at the top versus the problems flow downhill mentality that is in place. Need to offer reasonable accomodations to disabled people. Stop trying to get people to listen to the Nordy Podcast durring their time off.
Corporate should cut back the amount spent elsewhere and refocus it on the employees on the floor
New managers..we need leadership that knows what they are actually know what they are actually doing
Respect that your workers have a life outside of Nordstrom. Be fair and equal with all employees not just the paysetters or ones that has worked for years. or
Be fair to all employees

Closing the whole business up.
Nordstrom used to have a company culture that was great! It still looks good on paper. Nordstrom needs to return to its values.
Basic acknowledgment of hard work at store level. Appreciation, not being constantly told how replaceable you are
Re-recruit your former leaders, the good ones. Also stop relying on HR to lead. They are on complete power trips.
Get rid of some old employees counter managers.and beauty stylist. Encourage the employees who are working according to the company rules. Taking care of the customers.create friendly environment team work .

More understanding and respect for employees
Better managers that know how to get stuff done
more money for the workers so they can buy a nice gucci belt
Make the environment more fun... value all your workers, including contractors. Provide decent benefits from the beginning- then employees will be more likely to stay.
