Toxic leadership at least at the district manager level. Hired a new employee on at $12 an hour. Been here 10 years, not making $12 yet. During the review the DM said if I didn't like the pay that I should quit.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They are out of touch. They expect a lot out of someone yet the pay isn't commiserate. Yet they wonder why all the stores around Springfield have a labor shortage while the store managers are expected to cover the hours themselves. This effectively burns out the store managers.
