No accountability for lazy workers. Managers know this and do nothing to rectify it. Absolutly no way of knowing how many hours you'll work, can be 4-12. Employees do not get paid based on merit or the degree of physicality of their responsabilities.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Holding lazy workers who do everything they can to avoid the task they're resposible for accountable. They aknowledge their awareness of this but do nothing about it.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Work. Work. WORK! You cant leave until your department is finished, unfortunately this depends on other departments. A consequence of this is every lazy worker makes your day longer, it makes no difference how hard you work. Workers who milk clock go how early so as to not get OT. No accountability.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
HOLD WOKERS ACCOUNTABLE. Dont reward clock milkers by letting them leave early while making lesser paid workers stay longer to save money. Many times Ive had to work late while a coworker who avoids working at all cost leaves after 8hrs because he had a higher wage and they didnt want to pay hum OT.
