
Leadership is out of touch with what their employees do. They have expectations that do not match the reality of the situation. The downsizing of the company leads them to take on way too many roles. There is a disconnect between departments as well.
The team I oversaw was filled with incompetent workers who were with the company for years and moved up because of the duration they were with the company. There are no consequences for poor work because they are too afraid of an HR suit.
There is a constant fear of downsizing. This business is dying and we cannot keep up with the competition. Constant cuts are being made while the workload and pressure increases. The past five years have been a downward spiral. There is a high level of favoritism as well.
Everyone is constantly in fear of their jobs and stressed with the amount of work that needs to be done with the limited resources. There should be a more stringer hiring process and less cost cutting. If the execs took a dent in their high salary, more employees could help the company thrive.
