Corporate only cares about $. All of their employees are expendable. I've seen employees forced to resign, because they are too expensive and positions eliminated because they are too expensive. Heating and cooling don't work as well as doing NOTHING on employee appreciation day.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Everything. They go for the cheap rather than qualified people, which means they have no idea what to do. Corporate is only interested quotas and managers have been told to throw their employees under the bus eventhough they are right because the customer is always right.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
They should care about their employees not their bottom line. The employees know this, so they don't bother selling squats trades or going the extra mile because they get nothing in return. Corporate just wants to bleed us dry and then toss us aside. Perhaps that's why sales are down every quarter
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Corporate is spending money like it is going out of style. That means profits are lowered, so they get rid of positions, which means we have less people to help and customers get mad no one can help them, which means they buy less and we earn less so we fire more people until the store closes down
