
The difference in work load between different job titles is greater than the difference in pay. As a manager you are responsible for your team but only make a couple of dollars more per hour than them.
They are quick to blame problems on everyone else instead of realising that maybe they aren't giving us the right tools. When all 1400 stores have the same problem we must all be doing something wrong, it couldn't possibly be their fault.
There is a lot of pressure to bring up falling sales due to lower foot traffic, which then causes you to have to lay off employees which makes even harder to bring up sales. It's a perpetuating downward spiral until they close your store.
We need to spend more money on advertising and offer a better quality product at a lower cost. Our brand of products are not comepetively priced and they are very poor quality. We have a lot of returned merchandise either because it was defective or because they found it cheaper elsewhere.
